Wolverines Atop Leaderboards Before Play Suspended at Virtues Intercollegiate

» After an opening 283 (-5), Michigan was positioned fourth at the Virtues Intercollegiate. Heading back out for the second round the Wolverines vaulted themselves into the lead as they sat 12-under in the second before play was suspended due to darkness.
» With expected weather on Sunday, the 14-team field will finish their second round and the final round will be canceled. U-M's Hunter Thomson was the lone Wolverine not to finish and has one hole remaining.
» After an opening 69 (-3), Yuqi Liu sat second. He followed with a 68 (-4) in the second and is atop the leaderboard with a 137 (-7) total putting him in position to repeat as medalist.
» Before the suspension, the Wolverines had four among the top 10: Liu (1st, 69-68/137), Thomson (t-4th), RJ Arone (t-6th, 71-70/141) and Dean Muratore (t-8th, 73-69/142).
