
Moore Secures First Team All-Big Ten Honors; Berry, Rolder Named to Second Team

ROSEMONT, Ill. -- The University of Michigan football team saw 12 student-athletes earn all-league honors on the conference's All-Big Ten defensive and special teams lists. The Big Ten announced the 2025 position award winners and All-Big Ten honors on Wednesday (Dec. 3) as part of the B1G Today program on Big Ten Network.
Edge rusher Derrick Moore was U-M's first-team honoree. Moore posted 29 tackles, including 10.5 for loss with 10.0 sacks (both team-leading figures), three pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. A team captain, Moore led the Big Ten in sacks during league play and ranks 13th in the nation with 0.79 sacks per game.
Linebacker Jimmy Rolder (second team, coaches and media) and defensive back Zeke Berry (second team, media; third team, coaches) secured second-team honors. Rolder led U-M's defense with 69 tackles, including 7.0 for loss with 2.0 sacks, and had three pass breakups, one fumble recovery and one interception during a career-best season. Berry led U-M with 11 pass breakups, including one interception, and posted 28 tackles on the year.
Rayshaun Benny (third team, coaches and media) and Ernest Hausmann (third team, media; honorable mention, coaches) picked up third-team recognition. Benny led U-M interior linemen with 31 tackles, including 3.0 for loss with 1.5 sacks, and broke up two passes to go with one fumble recovery. Hausmann registered 68 stops for the Maize and Blue, including 5.5 for loss with 1.0 sack and one pass breakup.
Edge rusher Jaishawn Barham (coaches), defensive backs Jyaire Hill (coaches and media), Brandyn Hillman (coaches and media), TJ Metcalf (coaches) and interior lineman Trey Pierce (media) received honorable mention recognition.
Among specialists, Greg Tarr was a third-team choice by the media, and kicker Dominic Zvada was an honorable mention selection from the coaches. Tarr is also a semifinalist for the Patrick Mannelly Award given to the nation's top long snapper.
Linebacker Cole Sullivan was named the team's sportsmanship honoree.
