• Following today's loss, Michigan is 24-30 all-time in 54 bowl game appearances.
• U-M fell to 4-3 across seven Citrus Bowl appearances. Michigan has lost its last two appearances in the postseason event and is 1-2 over the last decade (win, 2016; loss, 2020).
• The Wolverines are now 0-3 in matchups with Texas.
• Michigan finished with 373 yards of total offense, marking the team's 11th game this season with 300-plus yards.
• The U-M offense constructed six drives of seven-plus plays, five of which ended in a touchdown, field goal, or field goal attempt.
• Quarterback Bryce Underwood completed 23-of-42 pass attempts, finishing with 199 passing yards and 276 all-purpose yards (77 rushing) with three touchdowns (one rushing). Underwood spread the ball to 11 different pass-catchers.
• Wide receiver Kendrick Bell scored his first career touchdown on an acrobatic 19-yard grab late in the first quarter, dragging his toe in the end zone for the game's first touchdown.
• Wide receiver Andrew Marsh was a difference-maker in the passing game with his fourth touchdown reception of the season and in the return game. He returned four kickoffs for 143 total yards and helped U-M start two third-quarter possessions near midfield.
• Marsh finished the season ranked first all-time among freshmen pass-catchers in yards (651), second in receptions (45) and third in touchdown receptions (four).
• The Wolverines totaled 174 rushing yards in today's contest against a Texas defense that permitted 98.1 rushing yards per game entering the game, the 10th-fewest in the nation.

• Zvada's 53-yarder was also the second-longest field goal in Citrus Bowl history. The longest conversion was also made by a Wolverine: Quinn Nordin (57 yards) in 2019.
• Edge rusher Cameron Brandt made his first career start in today's game.
• Punter Hunter Robertson made his U-M debut holding on field goals, and edge rusher Randy Keumogne debuted on kickoff return coverage.
