ROSEMONT, Ill. -- The University of Michigan football team saw nine student-athletes earn all-league honors on the conference's All-Big Ten Offensive list. The Big Ten announced the 2025 position award winners and All-Big Ten honors as part of Thursday's (Dec. 4) B1G Today program on Big Ten Network.
Running back Jordan Marshall was named a second-team choice by the media and a third-team selection on the coaches' ballot. Marshall led the way for the U-M rushing attack this season, starting four games after fellow backfield mate Justice Haynes suffered an injury at USC (Oct. 11). Marshall racked up 932 rushing yards on 150 carries (6.2 yards per attempt) with 10 touchdowns. In Big Ten play, his 823 rushing yards ranked fourth, his eight rushing touchdowns ranked tied for third, and his 6.9 yards/carry led the league.
Tight end Max Bredeson, guard Giovanni El-Hadi and running back Haynes received third-team recognition from the coaches, and all three received honorable mention honors from the media. Team captains, Bredeson and El-Hadi helped bolster U-M's 16th-ranked rushing attack, which averaged 213.2 yards per game. Haynes was among the national leaders in rushing yards (857), rushing touchdowns (eight), and rushes of 50-plus yards (four) at the time of his injury. He finished ninth in the Big Ten in full-season rushing yards, despite only appearing in seven games.
Honorable mention recognition went to offensive linemen Jake Guarnera (guard; coaches and media) and Andrew Sprague (tackle; coaches and media), tight end Marlin Klein (coaches and media), wide receiver Andrew Marsh (coaches and media), and offensive lineman Greg Crippen (center, media).
