ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan Football program distributed its 2024 season awards during the 2025 Spring Game on Saturday (April 19) at Michigan Stadium. Presented by the U-M Club of Greater Detroit, the team award winners were recognized during a halftime ceremony on the field with head coach Sherrone Moore and U-M Club of Greater Detroit president Tim Horvath.
Defensive lineman Mason Graham and running back Kalel Mullings were named co-recipients of the Bo Schembechler Most Valuable Player award. Graham earned consensus first-team All-America honors, first-team All-Big Ten honors and was named a finalist for the Outland Trophy and Nagurski Award. He led all U-M defensive linemen with 45 stops, including seven for loss, with 3.5 sacks, three hurries, one pass breakup, and one blocked kick. He helped spearhead a defense that finished 10th in total defense and fifth against the run.
Mullings picked up third-team All-Big Ten honors after leading U-M with 948 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns, averaging more than five yards per carry (5.1). His receiving (35 yards) and kick return (74 yards) production put him over 1,000 all-purpose yards for the season. Mullings eclipsed 90 rushing yards six times in 12 games and lost just 18 yards across 185 carries. Graham and Mullings are also the team's recipients of the 2024 Defensive and Offensive Player of the Year honors.
