Big Ten Championships: 3rd Place (212 points)
NCAA Championships: 11th Place (74 points)
It was an up-and-down campaign for the Maize and Blue in 2024-25, filled with plenty of exciting race moments and athlete accomplishments, as well as moments of growth for individual boats and the program. All in all, the Wolverines had a successful campaign and set a foundation for more strong seasons in the immediate future.
The University of Michigan rowing program earned bronze medal finishes from its top four boats at the 2025 Big Ten Championships en route to a third-place team finish. The team went on to place 11th at the NCAA Championships, with all three boats advancing to the petite finals.

Regular Season
• Championship Boats Tested at Big Ten/Ivy Dust Up: The Wolverines faced off against highly ranked rowing programs Yale, Penn and Syracuse at the Bulldogs' Cooper River Yacht Club to open the season (March 22). U-M's first four took a victory, while its other boats raced to tight second-place margins in a difficult early-season test. It was a valuable measurement for the Wolverines.
• Wolverine Fours Highlight Big Ten/ACC Challenge: The annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge (March 29) saw Michigan's fours continue to highlight their early-season races. The Wolverines took a clean sweep of their six 4+ races and added four more victories across the two-session race day against a collection of Ohio State, Virginia and Oklahoma boats.
• Michigan Races Well While Hosting Big Ten Invitational: The two-day Big Ten Invitational held at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Fla., (April 18-19) was hosted by the Wolverines this year, claiming victory in eight of 14 races on day one. The event, consisting of 11 Big Ten and 12 invitee schools, offered Michigan's athletes the opportunity to face off against boats they saw again in the postseason.

Postseason
• Wolverines Collect Bronze at Big Ten Championships: Each of Michigan's top four point-scoring boats (1V8, 2V8, 1V4, 2V4) earned bronze medals following the two-day championship event (May 17-18) in Indianapolis, Ind. The Wolverines competed all their boats in grand finals on championship Sunday, following seven second-place performances during day one heats.
• Advancing Through Difficult Field at NCAAs: U-M earned its way to A/B semifinals on day one and petite finals on day two of NCAA Championships (May 30-31) following strong performances from its championship boats. A highlight came on day one when Michigan's 1V4 placed second in a race that included four top-10 programs.
• Petite Finals Lead to 11th Place Team Finish: All three U-M boats competed in NCAA petite finals on the last day of competition of the season (June 1). The team finished sixth in the 1V8, third in the 2V8 and fourth in the 1V4. Michigan's second eight posted the team's closest margin to a petite final victory (-2.27) en route to an 11th overall finish.
