ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's soccer team will welcome nine newcomers for the upcoming 2025 season, head coach Jennifer Klein announced on Monday (July 21).
The incoming class includes three transfers and six freshmen who have been recruited from across the globe. The newcomers -- four defenders, three midfielders and two goalkeepers -- hail from three countries and five states in the U.S.
"We are so excited to welcome our newest team members," Klein said. "The staff has done a tremendous job of recruiting a great class of players who not only fill out positional needs, but who are young women who truly represent our program values of character, connection, communication, and compete.
"Each one has a skill set that will enhance our product on the field, and the experiences that they have all had so far in their careers will benefit our program as we continue to raise our standards and expectations, and work toward winning championships."
