SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced the updated format, game times and national broadcast partner for the 2025 Invesco QQQ Women's Showcase, taking place on Nov. 21 and 23 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. FOX Sports will showcase all four matchups across their channels (FOX, FS1 and FS2).
The University of Michigan women's basketball team will now face UConn on Nov. 21, with the contest airing live on FOX at 8 p.m. U-M will wrap up the event against Syracuse on Nov. 23 at noon on FS1. The game against UConn will mark the second straight season that Michigan will face the defending national champion after opening the 2024-25 season against South Carolina. It is also the second of U-M's non-conference games to air on FOX as the Wolverines will play Vanderbilt in the 2026 Coretta Scott King Classic.
Michigan is coming off its seventh straight NCAA Tournament berth in 2024-25, winning 23 games and reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament. J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Head women's basketball coach Kim Barnes Arico became the all-time winningest coach in Michigan basketball history and relied on a freshman-heavy lineup to finish fifth in the Big Ten with 11 victories. U-M welcomes back a trio of starters in Olivia Olson (16.3 ppg, 5.3 rpg), Syla Swords (16.0 ppg, 6.2 rpg) and Mila Holloway (9.8 ppg, 4.4 apg), along with six other Wolverines who saw the floor last season.
Season tickets are now on sale for the 2025-26 season and start at just $75. Purchase your season tickets and do not miss a moment of the action as Michigan looks to build on the momentum from last season.
