ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's basketball team will participate in the 2025 Shamrock Classic, facing Notre Dame on Nov. 15 at the Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit. The game is set for 4 p.m. and will air on NBC.
Tickets for the 2025 Shamrock Classic will go on sale to the public on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m.
The game is a rematch of last year's NCAA Tournament Round of 32 game that Notre Dame won 76-55 in South Bend. The Fighting Irish are the fourth Power Four opponent for the Wolverines in the non-conference portion of the season.
As has been the case with previous iterations of the Shamrock Classic, there will be additional programming throughout the weekend, including a leadership luncheon with the teams on Friday.
Michigan is coming off its seventh straight NCAA Tournament berth in 2024-25, winning 23 games and reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament. J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Head Women's Basketball Coach Kim Barnes Arico became the all-time winningest coach in Michigan basketball history and relied on a freshman-heavy lineup to finish fifth in the Big Ten with 11 victories. U-M welcomes back a trio of starters in Olivia Olson (16.3 ppg, 5.3 rpg), Syla Swords (16.0 ppg, 6.2 rpg) and Mila Holloway (9.8 ppg, 4.4 apg), along with six other Wolverines who saw the floor last season.
Season tickets are still available for the 2025-26 season and start at just $75. Purchase your season tickets and do not miss a moment of the action as Michigan looks to build on the momentum from last season.
