Michigan Athletics Celebrates 'Look to Michigan' Milestone

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan Athletics proudly announces reaching a significant milestone in the University's historic Look to Michigan fundraising campaign, surpassing the 50 percent mark of its ambitious $400 million goal. With over $200 million raised to date, the generosity of alumni, fans, and supporters is fueling transformative initiatives that empower Michigan student-athletes to excel -- in competition, in the classroom, and beyond.
The campaign's success reflects broad support across all of Michigan Athletics and a commitment to investing in three critical pillars. Gifts have been committed as follows:
- Scholarships: $90 million
Focused on creating opportunities and ensuring access, these gifts enable a new generation of Wolverine student-athletes to reach their full potential. - Facilities: $33 million
Critical facility improvements lay the foundation for continued championship success and modernized spaces where student-athletes train, compete, and grow. - Student-Athlete Enrichment: $37 million
Investments in holistic development -- from mental health services to leadership training, career preparation and performance nutrition -- help Wolverines thrive today and prepare for lifelong success. - Other (including discretionary funds and sport-specific gifts): $41 million
These contributions provide flexible resources, fueling innovation and excellence across Michigan Athletics.
