
Five Top-10 Marks Set as U-M Closes Out Florida Relays

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The No. 20-ranked University of Michigan women's track and field team set five top-10 program marks to close out the Florida Relays on Saturday (April 4) at Percy Beard Track at James G. Pressly Stadium.
A pair of Wolverines set top-10 times in the 400-meter dash, with Payton Smith finishing 12th with a personal-best time of 52.77 seconds while Alyssa Bean finished 25th (53.94). Smith's time is No. 3 on the program performers list and Bean's is No. 10.
Keyanna O'Tey placed 15th in the 100-meter dash (11.51) and Amare Harlan placed 30th with a personal-best 11.63. O'Tey's time comes in at No. 3 on the program performers list while Harlan's is No. 6.
Bean, Smith, Sidney Green and Trinity Henderson finished sixth in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:33.54, the No. 8 time on the program performers list.
In the 4x100-meter relay finals, Bean, Harlan, Myla Wilkes and O'Tey finished fifth with a time of 44.37.
The Maize and Blue will remain on the road, heading to Athens, Ga., for the Spec Towns Invitational from Thursday through Saturday (April 9-11) at Spec Towns Track.
