ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- In conjunction with the Big Ten Conference, the University of Michigan men's basketball program unveiled Tuesday (May 12) the home and road matchups for the 2026-27 season.
With 18 teams, the Big Ten schedule features three double-play opponents and single games against the remaining 14 conference schools, creating a 20-game regular-season slate.
Michigan will continue home-and-home series with rivals Michigan State and Ohio State, while adding Minnesota as its third double-play opponent.
U-M flips its road slate from a season ago, welcoming Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Northwestern, Oregon, Purdue and Washington to Ann Arbor. The road schedule is highlighted by a West Coast swing to UCLA and USC, along with trips to Indiana, Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers and Wisconsin.
Michigan is coming off a historic 2025-26 season in which the Wolverines finished 37-3, won the Big Ten regular-season title by four games with a 19-1 record, advanced to the Big Ten Tournament championship game and capped a memorable postseason run by capturing the national championship.
