Michigan Athletics Seeking Public Address Announcer for 2026-27 Season

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan Athletics is accepting applications for Public Address (PA) Announcer position for select athletic events during the 2026-27 season. Opportunities may include serving as the primary PA announcer for softball, volleyball, and men's and women's tennis -- along with potential opportunities to serve as a backup PA announcer at other Michigan Athletics events.
The PA Announcer serves as the "Voice" of Michigan Athletics during select home events, delivering clear and engaging announcements, recognizing sponsors and special guests, and helping create an exciting game-day atmosphere that enhances the fan experience.

Eligibility
The opportunity is open to all applicants. Candidates should possess strong public speaking and communication skills, the ability to perform confidently in a live event setting and a passion for collegiate athletics. Previous experience in public address announcing, broadcasting, emceeing or public speaking is preferred but is not required.
Application Requirements
Applicants must complete the online application and include a link to a performance reel or audio recording showcasing their announcing or speaking abilities.
Audition Process
Applications will be accepted throughout the year. Auditions will be conducted on an as-needed basis as openings become available.

Michigan Athletics reserves the right to disqualify or exclude any applicant from the audition process for any reason, including but not limited to violations of the application requirements or any attempt to interfere with the audition or selection process.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
