
Fall Softball Slate to Feature Three Home Dates, Trip to Western Michigan

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan softball team and head coach Bonnie Tholl announced the program's 2026 fall softball schedule on Wednesday (Aug. 12), featuring four dates, including three at the Wilpon Complex, home of Alumni Field at Carol Hutchins Stadium.
Michigan opens the fall slate on the road, traveling to Kalamazoo, Mich., for a 2 p.m. matchup at Western Michigan on Sunday, Sept. 27. The Wolverines then return home for back-to-back weekends, hosting Toledo at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, before welcoming Detroit Mercy for a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday, Oct. 3. U-M closes out the fall slate against Bowling Green at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9.
Admission is free to all fall exhibition games.
The fall schedule gives Michigan softball fans their first look at the 2027 Wolverine roster, which returns a veteran core, including All-America outfielders Jenissa Conway and Lauren Putz, All-Big Ten performer Ella Stephenson and three starting pitchers in Gabby Ellis, Erin Hoehn and Kat Meyers.
Team 50 also welcomes nine total newcomers -- five in its nationally ranked transfer group and a four-member freshman class. Among the new Wolverines are four pitchers, a catcher, three infielders and one who can catch and play infield.
