Outdoor Track & Field
• Earned First-Team All-America honors by scoring a career-best 7738 points in the decathlon for 4th at the NCAA Championships (June 5-8). En route he achieved career-best performances in the long jump (7.11m/23-4), shot put (13.66m/44-9.75), 400 meters (48.60), 110-meter hurdles (14.49, -0.2m/s), pole vault (4.71m/15-5.5) and 1,500 meters (4:35.22)
• Claimed the silver medal by scoring 7543 points in the decathlon for 2nd at the Big Ten Championships (May 10-12), scoring eight team points for Michigan. Along the way he posted career-best performances at 400 meters in 49.03 and in the pole vault at 4.70m (15-5).
• Ran a wind-aided 14.55 (+2.5m/s) in the 110 meter hurdles for 4th at the Len Paddock Open (May 3)
• Cleared a career-best 4.67m (15-3.75) in the pole vault for 12th at the Virginia Challenge (April 19-20), leapt a wind-aided 7.15m (23-5.5) (+4.3m/s) for 11th in the long jump, and ran a career-best 14.61 (+2.0m/s) for 20th in the 110-meter hurdles.
• Threw 12.91m (42-4.25) in the shot put for 8th at the Louisville Invitational (April 12-13)and threw 40.40m (132-6) in the discus to finish 11th.
• Scored a career-best 7,596 points in the decathlon for the win at the Jim Click Shootout (April 4-5), including career-best performances in the javelin at 56.79m (186-4), the long jump at 7.10m (23-3.5) (+1.3m/s) and at 400 meters (49.28). He nearly set career bests at 100 meters (11.06, +1.1m/s) and in the high jump (1.94m / 6-4.25).
• Threw 13.26m (43-6) in the shot put for 12th at the Hurricane Invitational (March 15-16), and also was 14th in the 110-meter hurdles in 14.99 (+0.0m/s) and 19th in the discus at 36.18m (118-8).
Indoor Track & Field
• Scored 5507.00 in the heptathlon for 5th at the Big Ten Indoor Championships (Feb. 22-23) and recorded career-bests in the 60m hurdles (8.18) and pole vault (4.65m).
• Jumped 6.87m (22-6.5) in the long jump for 5th at the Simmons-Harvey Big Ten Invitational (Jan. 19), and also ran 7.26 for 60 meters to finish 18th.
• Ran 8.45 in the 60 meter hurdles for 13th at the Wolverine Invitational (Jan. 12) , and threw 12.43m (40-9.5) in the shot put for 17th.
