In the Words of the Green Family (Valecia and George Green) …
Gemon, the first born of the set of twins, has been playing football since the age of six years old. From his backyard to high school, football is the one activity he has fully dedicated and committed himself to. Gemon won several championships on all 4 levels with the Mesquite Pee Wee Football League in Mesquite Texas, where it all started. Years later while in high school, Gemon had the opportunity to assist his twin brother in a comeback game after an injury. They were able to play together and finish up their high school career as a unit. The family was so proud to see them both back on the field together. Gemon has attended the North Texas Top 100 players camp, played in the Under Armour camp, Texas 7-on-7, he is a 2-year first-team All-District player, listed as one of the Top 5 DBs in the DFW Metroplex, attended the NIKE Opening invite where he was named MVP for CBs, he then went on to compete in the NIKE Opening for 2017, played in the 2018 All American International Game and was a part of Desoto High School's first Championship 2017 team.
The family and extended families are very proud of both boys and commend them on their accomplishments juggling academics along with their football career. Both boys have been blessed with a great opportunity and we could not have asked for a better University (University of Michigan) to send them to. We thank the Coaches for the next level opportunity. GO BLUE!!
