Barry MacKay (1957): MacKay defeated Texas' Sammy Giammalva, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3, in the championship final to help the Wolverines earn their first NCAA team title in 1957.
Michael Leach (1982): Leach became the first unseeded player to win the NCAA Singles Championship when he upset Pepperdine's Brad Gilbert in the 1982 final.
