Michigan Men's Basketball in Italy 2014
The Wolverines will travel to Italy for a 10-day foreign tour, Aug. 15-24, as well as play four exhibition games while abroad.
Throughout the 10-day trip, set up with Anthony Travel, the Wolverines will tour several iconic cities including Rome, Verona, Vicenza, Venice and Lake Como as well as specific sites such as the Vatican, the Colosseum and Forum and the Spanish Steps. U-M is also scheduled to visit the United States Army base in Vicenza on Wednesday, Aug. 20. The Garrison is home to U.S. soldiers, service members and their families, including the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team and 509th Signal Battalion. The Wolverines' visit will include lunch and dining with service members, meeting with soldiers, a U-M shootaround and an autograph signing. [ Itinerary ]
