Michigan Dance Team Auditions for 2026-27
Thank you for your continued interest in the Michigan Dance Team.
We greatly look forward to getting to know all of our prospective members for the 2027-28 season. We encourage you to carefully look over all of the audition requirements provided below, and that you take the time to research and interact with the Michigan community prior to pursuing our audition process. Members of the University of Michigan Dance Team are not only athletes, but are also valued students within the university.
While dancing at the collegiate level is an exciting opportunity, the University of Michigan differs greatly from many other universities you may be interested in. We are "the best university in the world," and our student athletes are held to the highest caliber of athletic and academic performance. We not only expect our team members to compete at an exceptional level during MDT appearances and at UDA College Nationals, but we also intend for our athletes to excel academically. Our hybrid audition model echoes this sentiment, as it is vital that prospective members have applied to the University and expressed their interest in the school prior to pursuing a spot on the Michigan Dance Team.
