Football season ticket transfers will be available for the 2022 season beginning on November 15, 2021, and ending on December 17, 2021.

In response to season ticket holder feedback, Michigan Athletics provides football season ticket holders the opportunity to transfer their season tickets. Since 2015 and continuing annually, season ticket holders will be able to transfer their season tickets, typically during the month December. Transfer months may be subject to change in future years.

Ticket transfer fees will vary based on seat locations in Michigan. Season ticket transfer fees go to the Michigan Athletics Annual Fund and will be used to support the area of greatest need for the Athletic Department. Such examples include student-athlete health and welfare and academic support services.

Football Season Ticket Transfer Terms and Conditions

The following are the terms and conditions of transferring Michigan Football season tickets:

• Season ticket transfers are not temporary. The ticket transfer recipient now becomes the new season ticket holder for the seats that were transferred.
• The ticket transfer fee does not replace the preferred seat contribution. The ticket recipient must pay the preferred seat contribution in the first year and each successive year in order to have the opportunity to renew the season tickets.
• Priority points for the transfer fee will be awarded to the individual receiving the tickets, regardless of who pays this fee. No exceptions can be made.
• Season ticket transfers must be made by December 17, 2021.
• Season tickets can only be transferred to individuals that are 18 years of age or older.
• Season tickets can only be transferred to individuals; not to businesses or organizations.
• Parking cannot be transferred.
• Priority points cannot be transferred.
• Complimentary tickets cannot be transferred.
• Student season tickets cannot be transferred.
• In accordance with the tax legislation effective January 1, 2018, donations associated with the purchase of tickets are no longer tax deductible.
• Faculty/staff tickets transferred to a non-faculty/staff member will no longer be subject to the faculty/staff discount. The ticket recipient will be charged full price for the tickets.
• There is a maximum of 8 tickets per ticket account. Transfer requests that will results in more than 8 tickets in a single account will be denied.
• Season ticket transfer fees are non-refundable and the transfer cannot be revoked, regardless of whether or not the ticket recipient takes the necessary steps in order to receive the tickets.
• Ticket transfers in premium areas, including east side club seats and west side chairbacks, will not require a fee for the 2022 season if completed by December 17, 2021. Premium ticket transfers for the 2023 season will be subject to a fee that will be communicated prior to 2023 season ticket renewals.

Transferring to Multiple People

The online application does not allow for transfers to multiple people. If you are transferring tickets to multiple people, please fill out a paper form for each recipient and mail to the address provided on the form.
