2022 Big Ten Cross Country Championships
For the first time since 2008, the Big Ten Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships is set to return to the University of Michigan. The conference's best distance runners and teams -- ranked among the best nationally -- will navigate the challenging terrain of the U-M Golf Course on Friday, October 28 for what promises to be one of the premier conference championship competitions in the entire NCAA. This will mark just the eighth time the Big Ten Championships have been held in Ann Arbor, with previous U-M-hosted competitions in 1924, 1925, 1927, 1974, 1985, 1998 and 2008.

Course Description
The cross country course follows the University of Michigan golf course's rolling terrain, traversing nearly all of the 18 holes at some point. The races begin on the fairway of the first hole and are highlighted by a climb up the 10th fairway that is negotiated twice by the women, and three times by the men. After the out-and-back first mile on the east side of the course, the women and men negotiate the main 1.5 mile loop once and twice respectively before finishing on the finishing one mile loop. The women's 6,000-meter and men's 8,000-meter races conclude between the first and ninth holes.

Parking
Parking will be permitted in lost SC7, SC20 and SC39 with overflow lots surrounding Crisler Center and ADA parking available at the U-M Golf Course parking lot. Staff will be on site to direct fans to enter the golf course via a walking tunnel, as walking across Stadium Blvd from Lot SC7 will not be permitted.
