
NCAA Women's Tennis First and Second Rounds
For the 12th time since 2010 and fourth consecutive season, the University of Michigan's Varsity Tennis Center will play host to the first and second rounds of the NCAA Women's Tennis Championships. As the No. 12 seed, Michigan welcomes Florida, Toledo and Illinois State for matches scheduled Saturday and Sunday, May 2-3. The weekend winner will advance to the NCAA Super Regional, where it will face the winner of the site featuring No. 5 seed North Carolina, along with Charleston Southern, Maryland and South Carolina.
Schedule of Events
Saturday, May 2
Match 1 -- #14 Florida vs. Toledo, 10 a.m.
Match 2 -- #18 Michigan vs. Illinois State, 1 p.m.
Sunday, May 3
Match 3 -- Winner of Match One vs. Winner of Match Two, 1 p.m.
(Winner advances to NCAA Super Regional)

Admission is free to all matches this weekend at the Varsity Tennis Center.

Parking
Free parking is located off State St. next to the Varsity Tennis Center (see map at bottom of page).
Spectator Entrance
The spectator entrance will be located on the sidewalk in front of the main entrance to the Preston Robert Tisch Building, between the building and the William Clay Ford Outdoor Courts. If the matches are moved indoors, spectators should use the front main entrance to the Varsity Tennis Center and follow the stairs up to the seating area.
Inclement Weather
If matches cannot be played outside due to weather or darkness, they will be moved indoors on courts located at the competition site. Indoor surface is the same hard court surface as the outdoor courts.

From Detroit Metro Airport and points east: Take I-94 west to State Street (exit 177). Turn right. Travel north approximately 1 1/4 miles through two stoplights. Turn left at the Varsity Tennis Center, which is just past the lacrosse stadium on the left and the Germain car dealership on the right.
From Chicago and points west: Take I-94 east to State Street (exit 177). Turn left. Travel north approximately 1 1/4 miles through three stoplights. Turn left at the Varsity Tennis Center, which is just past the lacrosse stadium on the left and the Germain car dealership on the right.
From Toledo and points south: Take U.S. 23 north to I-94 west. Follow directions from Detroit Metro Airport.
From Flint and points north: Take U.S. 23 south to I-94 west. Follow directions from Detroit Metro Airport.
