In the Words of the Green Family (Valecia and George Green) …
German, the other half that completes the Green Twins, started crafting his great athletic skills early on at the age of six while playing youth football. During this time, he won several championships on all 4 levels with the Mesquite Pee Wee Football League, and it has been his passion ever since. German has a family that is very proud of all his accomplishments. He has proven himself determined and passionate with his inspiring comeback to the field after an injury in the spring of his junior year. German crafted two positions and is now able to play both safety and cornerback on the field. Football has provided him with memories that will last a lifetime, such as: being a part of the Desoto High School 2017 UIL championship team, winning the conference his junior year, being a part of the North Texas Top 100 players, 1st team All-District, playing in the Under Armour camp, Texas 7-on-7, and playing in the 2018 All American International Game. He and his twin brother who have been side by side since birth, will join one another at the University of Michigan in the fall on 2018 to begin a new chapter in their lives together.
The family and extended families are very proud of both boys and commend them on their accomplishments juggling academics along with their football career. Both boys have been blessed with a great opportunity and we could not have asked for a better University (University of Michigan) to send them to. We thank the Coaches for the next level opportunity. GO BLUE!!
