Hunter Shafer enters his second season as program assistant for the U-M men's gymnastics team in 2026. Born and raised in Boca Raton, FL, he is a former gymnast and a fourth-year
Applied Exercise Science major. He is also a USAG certified judge and is working on getting his CSCS for a career in strength and conditioning.
