As a senior, McKew led the team to an Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) championship and a berth in the NCAA Final Four.
After graduating from Maryland, McKew earned her Masters of Education at Drexel University, where she also served as the assistant lacrosse coach from 2010-11.
Following her role as assistant coach, McKew transitioned back to her alma mater, Maryland, as a General Assistant in the Department of Athletics, coordinating the operations of the women’s lacrosse program. McKew then put her undergraduate and graduate degrees to use, teaching first grade in Baltimore County Public Schools for five years.
