Hunter Satterthwaite currently serves as the Director of Baseball Analytics and enters his second season with the team full time.
Satterthwaite started with the Michigan program full-time as the director of baseball operations and data analytics in 2021 after working as a Data Analyst at HF Software Solutions for a year.
He graduated with a bachelor's degree in data science from the University of Michigan and worked with the Michigan Baseball team during his undergraduate years. With Michigan Baseball, Satterthwaite creates player and coach facing reports from Trackman and other data sources via Python, R and SQL. He also leads a team of student analysts to help with these processes.
