John Fravel

John Fravel is in his third season working with the Michigan wrestling program after first joining the Michigan performance nutrition staff in July 2023.
Before starting at Michigan, John was a graduate assistant with the UNC Chapel Hill performance nutrition department. John was also a track and field athlete for Appalachian State University.
Born and raised in Roswell, Ga., Fravel earned his undergraduate degree in exercise science with a minor in nutrition at App State. He then completed his dietetic internship and master's degree in public health and dietetics at UNC Chapel Hill. He is a Registered Dietitian.
