Luke Bottari is in his first year assisting the U-M offense in 2026. He is in his second year coaching at the collegiate level.
Bottari played quarterback under Kyle Whittingham at Utah (2022-24) after beginning his career at the College of San Mateo (2019-21), where he left as the career passing touchdown leader (46) with a 22-3 record as a starter. He was 2-0 as a starter with the Utes among five total appearances.
Following his playing career, Bottari spent the 2025 season as a graduate assistant working with Utah's offense under coordinator Jason Beck and assistant head coach Jim Harding. The Utes were second in the FBS in rushing offense, fourth in total offense and fifth in scoring offense.
