*****
In her five seasons in Ann Arbor, Unruh was instrumental in U-M's rise in the Big Ten and nationally with three NCAA appearances.Â
Upon her arrival, she found success immediately starting in the 2016-17 season. Unruh helped the Maize and Blue to a top-five finish at the 2017 Big Ten championships, earned a second straight NCAA regional bid, and advanced to a second straight NCAA Championships. In the finals, U-M closed with the program's highest finish at the national championship (t-16th) led by U-M's first All-American Elodie Van Dievoet, who tied for fourth (219) in the finals.
After the 2020 spring, postseason, and the following fall were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, Unruh helped Dowling, and the Wolverines, post five straight top-five team finishes in the 2021 spring, capped off with a runner-up finish at Big Ten's, a top-five finish at the NCAA regional, and a return to the NCAA Finals.Â
Starting the 2021 postseason, the Wolverines used an 858 (-6) championships total to post a Big Ten runner-up team finish thanks to the play of Big Ten Freshman of the Year and All-Big Ten first-team honoree Monet Chun (t-9th) as well as first team member Ashley Lau (t-3rd and second-team member Hailey Borja (t-16th). In total, all five Wolverine starters finished among the top 25 individually.
With that conference finish, U-M earned a trip to the 2021 NCAA Columbus Regional, where the Maize and Blue used an 885 total and a runner-up finish from Chun (215, -1) to tie for fifth and advance to the NCAA Finals for the fourth time. In the finals, Borja became the first Wolverine to advance to the final stroke play round as she tied for fifth (286 (-3) -- a program NCAA 72-hole record. Paced by Borja's performance, U-M recorded another top-20 national finish (903; 20th).

Before she arrived in Ann Arbor, Unruh spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Tulane (2014-16). With the Green Wave, she helped the program to back-to-back NCAA regional appearances, culminating in an NCAA Finals appearance in 2015. Tulane nearly made two straight finals appearances, missing the 2016 cut by a single shot.
With Unruh, Tulane registered nine top-5 finishes and captured the team title at the prestigious 2014 Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational (Oct. 12-14). She mentored Emily Penttila to the 2016 Golfweek All-America (honorable mention), All-American Conference (first team), and Louisiana Women's Golfer of the Year and first-team honoree, from the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA).
Penttila, who is a two-time Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar, closed with a 72.97 scoring average in 2015-16, which was the second-best mark in a single season in school history and helped her lower her career average to a Tulane record 73.53.
Before her stint at Tulane, Unruh spent a year at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) in 2013-14. She helped the Jaguars to five top-10 finishes, including three top-5 efforts during her lone season, which included a third-place finish at the Summit League Championship.

A native of Kent, Ohio, Unruh played for legendary coach and father, Mike Morrow, at Kent State (2008-12). She helped the Flashes to four consecutive Mid-American (MAC) crowns. She was a two-time second-team All-MAC selection (2011, '12) and twice finished among the top 10 at the MAC Championships.Â
Among her top collegiate finishes was a third-place effort at the 2011 Ohio State Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational (April 16-17) and her finish at the 2011 NCAA Central Regional (May 5-7), where she tied for 14th and missed qualifying for the national championships by one stroke.
Twice, Unruh made the Sweet 16 at the Western Amateur and had three appearances at the U.S. Women's Public Links. In 2011, she made it to the match play portion at Bandon Dunes in Bandon, Oregon. She played in the 2009 U.S. Amateur in St. Louis, Missouri.

While an undergrad at Kent State, Unruh participated in the Athletic Leadership Academy and was a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representative. She also worked in the athletics department in marketing and athletic advancement.Â
She earned her degree in sports administration in 2012 and was also a volunteer assistant with Kent State women's golf program during the fall of 2013. Unruh starred at Kent Roosevelt High School, earning All-Ohio first-team honors as a senior.
Unruh, and her husband, Ryan, reside in Novi, Mich., with their daughter, Harper, and dog, Reese.
