Christina Seufert Sholtis

Christina Seufert Sholtis is among the most decorated divers in Michigan history. While at U-M, in 1977, she finished fourth at the World University Games and won two AIAW national titles for the one-meter and three-meter springboards. She continued her international career by earning a spot on the United States 1980 Olympic team. Though the 1980 Olympic boycott prevented American athletes' participation, she claimed international success at the World Championships, earning a silver medal in 1982. Seufert Sholtis reached the height of her athletic career as a bronze medalist on the women's three-meter springboard at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.
