She was named the Big Ten Athlete of the Year during those seasons (2010, '11) while earning back-to-back NCAA Singles Championships appearances. Muresan graduated first in school history with 111 wins, which still ranks sixth all-time. She had a .707 winning percentage in singles play, good for 10th all-time. Muresan earned a No. 6 singles ranking in the 2011 year-end ITA rankings, making her one of three players in program history to end with a top-10 ranking. A three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree, Muresan graduated with a degree in biopsychology, cognition and neuroscience.
