NOTES
QUOTES
HEAD COACH RED BERENSON
On Michigan's performance ...
"We had to do things better tonight than we did last night, obviously. I think preparation is a big part of it."
MICHIGAN ASSISTANT CAPTAIN DALE ROMINSKI
On missing an open net opportunity to complete his hat trick ...
"I wonder why I don't get hat tricks and that's exactly the reason why -- well over (top of) open nets. Mikie (Comrie) threw one out in front of me and (Western Michigan goaltender Matt) Barnes made a great stick save coming across."
