U-M Women's Rowing vs. Wisconsin and Iowa Cancelled

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Due to inclement weather and dangerous conditions at Griggs Reservoir, the seventh-ranked University of Michigan women's rowing team's races against No. 8 Wisconsin and No. 17 Iowa scheduled for today (Saturday, April 8) have been cancelled.
The Wolverines will return to Ann Arbor to host their first home regatta in two years next Saturday (April 15) against No. 11 Ohio State and Notre Dame. Michigan then hosts intrastate rival Michigan State, ranked 16th in the latest Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association/USRowing poll, on Sunday (April 16). The site of the races -- either Belleville Lake in Belleville, Mich., or Ford Lake in Ypsilanti, Mich. -- will be determined later in the week. Action both days will begin at approximately 9 a.m.
