Jillson, Hilbert and Cammalleri Earn More Honors

Jillson was named to the Verizon Academic All-America Fall-Winter At-Large second team with a 3.48 grade-point average in Sports Management and Communications. Jillson, who will be forgoing his senior season with the Wolverines this fall to play for the San Jose Sharks of the NHL, netted 10 goals and dished out 20 assists for 30 points to lead all Wolverine defensemen in points. Jillson, who was a first team All-Academic District 6 and Central Collegiate Hockey Association member, also was named to the first team All-CCHA squad.
Hilbert, a Hobey Baker Award finalist as a sophomore and an All-CCHA first team selection, earned a place on the American Hockey Coaches Association All-America first team. He finished the season with 26 goals and 38 assists for a team-leading 64 points, good for sixth place nationally with a 1.56 points per game average, and he captured third place in the CCHA scoring race by scoring 15 goals, 27 assists for 42 points.
Both Jillson and Cammalleri earned spots on the AHCA All-America second team. Cammalleri, also a sophomore, finished the season with 29 goals and 32 assists for 61 points, good for 12th nationally with a 1.45 points per game average, and he was sixth in the CCHA with a conference season total of 36 points on 17 goals and 19 assists.
The American Hockey Coaches Association picks both an east and west first and second team.
