Q U O T E S
Head Coach Mike McGuire
On how the team performed ... "We were average today. We have got to start better and get closer to the front of the pack right out of the gates. We need to close the gap between the first-place time and our first-place time. That is something we will work on this week. It was a great day to run today. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and the temperature was around 65 degrees. It was a whole lot better than the conditions yesterday."
On the team's depth ... "We had some good things come out of today's run. Jane Martineau had a great run and so did Stephanie Hirtle and Sarah Pizzo, but our depth has to keep moving up."
Junior Lindsey Gallo
On the race ... "I felt good during the race. There were a lot of good teams here today and we had to step up if we were going to do anything. It think our team rose to the challenge and as a whole I think we did pretty well."
On her running mentality ... "I think our pack is so close that any one of us could take the lead at any given meet. I just feel that as long as I can stay close to the leaders, our team has a better chance of placing high, giving us a better chance at winning the meet."
