One of four players unanimously voted to the All-Big Ten Conference team, Moore established U-M single-season records for kills (522), total blocks (161) and block assists (154) in 2003 and concluded her career with 1,384 kills, the most by any student-athlete in U-M volleyball history. Moore led the Wolverines in kills in 20 matches and topped the 10-kill mark in all but three appearances during the year, including a career-high 28 terminations in both matches against the Purdue Boilermakers (Oct. 11 and Oct. 31).
Moore was also honored for her classroom accomplishments in 2003, earning a spot on the Academic All-Big Ten Volleyball team and the CoSIDA University Division Academic All-District IV Volleyball second team.
The Wolverines (21-12, 12-8 Big Ten) concluded the 2003 campaign with their fifth NCAA Tournament appearance and advanced to the second round for the fourth time in five tries. U-M also finished fifth in the Big Ten, its best showing since 1997, while its 21 wins, including 12 in conference action, were the most since the 1997 campaign.
