Three More Wolverines Regionally Qualify at Mt. SAC

WALNUT, Calif. -- The University of Michigan women's track and field team wrapped up its trip to California with three NCAA Regional qualifying performances Sunday (April 17) at the Mt. SAC Relays at Hilmer Lodge Stadium.
Junior/sophomore Katie Erdman (Cadillac, Mich./Cadillac) won the 800-meter run, shattering her career best with a time of 2:05.98 and falling just 2.18 seconds shy of the school record.
Fifth-year senior Lindsey Gallo (Freehold, M.J./Howell) finished eighth in a field of nine elite competitors in the invitational 1,500-meter run, regionally qualifying for the second straight week in a time of 4:21.51.
Senior Sierra Hauser-Price (Van Nuys, Calif./Notre Dame) took ninth in the 100-meter dash in a regional-qualifying time of 11.73, 0.22 seconds off her personal best.
The Wolverines return home to compete in the EMU Twilight on Saturday (April 23) in Ypsilanti, Mich.
