Senior middle blocker Lyndsay Miller moved into third place on U-M's all-time kills list, passing Erin Moore (2000-03). Miller has 1,396 kills in her career -- 166 shy of Jennifer Gandolph (2001-04) in second place. Miller now has the most kills for any U-M middle blocker in program history. She is now 15 blocks shy of becoming U-M's all-time leading blocker.
Junior Beth Karpiak passed 250 career blocks with four rejections Friday. She needs to pass 329 career rejections to crack U-M's top 10.
Michigan's 22-win season is a record for head coach Mark Rosen. The 2007 campaign now stands as the fourth most single-season wins in U-M program history.
Michigan's 12 wins in Cliff Keen Arena this season comprise a program best for home victories. Four times previous, the Wolverines have tallied 11 wins on their home floor. Michigan is 12-2 in Cliff Keen Arena this season.
Tonight was the last match for Ohio State head coach Jim Stone, who is retiring after 26 years of coaching the Buckeyes. Stone led OSU to three Big Ten titles and 11 NCAA Tournament appearances during his tenure. Wolverine associate head coach Leisa Rosen was an All-American and Big Ten Player of the Year under Stone, captaining his 1991 team to its first Final Four appearance.
