Mecham, the 2007 Big Ten Freshman of the Year, Gordon, and Trumble are in their second season in the first varsity eight as well, while this is Dunn's first year in the top boat.
CRCA Scholar Athletes were required to have competed in NCAA eligible boats (first varsity eight, second varsity eight, first varsity four) for at least 75 percent of the season. Deinek and Strzalkowski have been primarily in the second varsity eight, while McAllister has spent the majority of the season in the first varsity four. Additionally, they had to earn a grade-point average at or above 3.5. The student-athlete also had to be in at least her second academic year.
