With his start against Marquette, Manny Harris has now played and started all 71 games in his U-M career. He has not missed a game in his three seasons. Stu Douglass extended his consecutive games streak to 39, while DeShawn Sims has played in 101 consecutive games and 104 total for Michigan.
With the loss, Michigan now leads Marquette 13-6 in the overall series between the two schools. This was the first meeting since Dec. 22, 1990, an 89-81 U-M win in Ann Arbor. It was Marquette's first victory in the series since March 16, 1974, a 72-70 win for Marquette in the NCAA Tournament Mideast Regional Final.
With 22 points against Marquette, Manny Harris has now scored 20 or more points in three consecutive games and three of the first four games this season. It was 58th game scoring in double figures, the 24th 20-plus point game in his career and the 39th time he has led U-M in scoring in a game. Overall, Harris leads U-M with 21.3 points per game.
For the fourth straight game, Manny Harris grabbed at least eight rebounds. Through four games he has not had a game with fewer than eight and leads U-M with a 9.5 per-game average. He has 410 in his career as he continues to move closer to the 500-rebound plateau.
For the second straight game, Laval Lucas-Perry scored in double figures. He closed with 12 points against Marquette after opening with 18 points in the quarterfinal opener against Creighton.

DeShawn Sims blocked a season-high two shots. It was the first multi-block game for a Wolverine this season.
Michigan's three three-point field goals were the lowest made in a game by the Maize and Blue during the John Beilein era at U-M. The Wolverines' previous low of four came on four different occasions, with the last coming against Michigan State on Feb. 10, 2009.
Michigan trailed at the half for the first time this season, 44-35. Marquette's 45 first-half points were also the most allowed by U-M in a half this season.
Marquette had forced its opponents to 19.6 turnovers through its first five games, but the Wolverines recorded a season-low nine against the Golden Eagles.
