Welcome to Michigan Stadium
Whether you're visiting Michigan Stadium for the first time or returning for another season, our goal is to provide every guest with a safe, welcoming, and memorable game day experience. This guide is designed to help you plan your visit by answering common questions about parking, tickets, accessibility, stadium policies, amenities, and services available before and during your visit.
Event Team Members are stationed throughout Michigan Stadium and are happy to assist you. If you need help at any time, simply ask the nearest Event Team Member or visit a Guest Services location.
Know Before You Go

- Bag Check is located inside the southeast entrance of Crisler Center off Stadium Way.

- A claim ticket is required to retrieve checked items.
- Cash, alcohol, illegal drugs, food, cameras, video cameras, and weapons cannot be checked.
- Items must be claimed within 45 minutes after the game.
- Email guestservices@umich.edu the following Monday regarding unclaimed items.
- Items left unclaimed for 10 days will be discarded.

Michigan Athletics is committed to providing a fun, respectful, and inclusive environment for all fans, student-athletes, faculty, and staff. Participants and guests should not be subjected to harassment, intimidation, or any other kind of disruptive behavior while attending Michigan Athletic Department events.
Any fan who engages in disruptive behaviors, including but not limited to appearing inebriated; entering the field of play; throwing objects in the stands or onto the field; harassing or intimidating others; or directing profane, insulting, abusive, or highly critical language at another person, including racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or demeaning slurs, will be removed from the event and may face arrest and prosecution in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
A fan's season tickets may be subject to termination if their behavior, or that of the person or persons holding their tickets, is found to violate this code of conduct. Any fan behavior that directly or indirectly interferes with the enjoyment of the game by others or the conduct of the event will be promptly addressed and may result in revocation of the ticket license and removal from the venue.

Michigan Stadium offers several options to help guests stay hydrated.
- Water fountains are located throughout the public concourse.
- Complimentary cups of water are available at designated Hydration Stations and permanent concession stands.
- Hydration Stations are located on the main concourse near Gate 8 in the northwest, Tisch Tower in the northeast, Gate 2/Crisler Center in the southeast, and the south end of the stadium.
- Bottle filling stations are available throughout Michigan Stadium, including on the main concourse, west 300-level concourse, and east 200-level concourse.
- Outside water bottles are not permitted.

A private lactation room is available for nursing and pumping mothers.
- Located on the upper east concourse outside Section 40 in Room 2017.

Designated entrances are available for guests with club and suite level tickets on both the east and west sides of Michigan Stadium.
West Side Premium Entrances
- Ross Tower (Northwest Tower): Primary entrance for west side suite guests, located near the intersection of Main Street and Keech Avenue. Access is available from the Main Street sidewalk or stadium concourse.
- Levine Tower (Southwest Tower): Entrance for media and guests requiring accessible access.
East Side Premium Entrances
East side suite guests may enter through the Northeast Tower, Southeast Tower, or the Jack Roth Stadium Club Entrance located off the Blue Lot parking area, just north of Gate 1 and the football tunnel.
Entry Information
- Tickets are scanned upon entry to the East and West Towers and are scanned again at the premium level where seats are located.
- Every guest must have a valid ticket to access and remain in premium seating areas.
- Guests leaving the East or West Tower and returning from the public concourse must obtain a transit hand stamp from the Event Team Member stationed near the tower exits or elevators before exiting. A valid transit stamp is required for re-entry into the tower.

Students should enter Michigan Stadium through Gate 8 or Gate 10.
Student Entry
- Student tickets are mobile NFC, or tap-to-enter, tickets.
- Student season ticket holders do not need to present an MCard when using their own ticket.
- If a student ticket has been transferred, the recipient must present a valid MCard or validation voucher for entry.
- Student IDs may not be used by anyone other than the assigned student.
Validation Vouchers
- Validation vouchers are available before game day at the Michigan Ticket Office and Michigan Union.
- On game day, validations are available at the Student Ticket Office at Gate 9.

Tailgating is permitted in designated parking lots before Michigan Football games.
Tailgating Guidelines
- All tailgating equipment must remain behind your parked vehicle within your designated parking space.
- Tailgate setups may not occupy adjacent parking spaces or block roads, driveways, or traffic lanes.
- Parking Lot personnel will determine if a setup creates a traffic or safety concern.

- Guests should retain their mobile ticket throughout the event, as it may be needed to access certain areas or for re-entry into premium spaces.

The University of Michigan is a tobacco-free campus. The use of all tobacco and nicotine products is prohibited throughout Michigan Stadium and the Stephen M. Ross Athletic Campus.

To help expedite traffic following Michigan Football games, Main Street from Stadium Boulevard to I-94 becomes one-way southbound after the game. Guests should expect increased traffic and are encouraged to allow extra travel time when departing the stadium area.

The UMCU All-Star Lounge offers a premium pregame hospitality experience.
- Located at Mortenson Plaza within the stadium between the East Tower and Crisler Center, overlooking the Champions East and Blue parking lots.
