• Sunday's game marked the first-ever meeting between Michigan and Gardner-Webb.
• With the win, head coach John Beilein picked up his 600thwin as a collegiate head coach.
• As part of the Legends Classic, Michigan honored three members of the "Fab Five" at halftime. Jalen Rose, Ray Jackson, and Jimmy King each received a plaque and were honored at half court.
• Michigan never fell behind in the contest. After Darius Morris' field goal with 17:29 remaining in the first half, the Wolverines never gave up their lead the rest of the way and led by as many as 32.
• Four players, Darius Morris (21), Jordan Morgan (20), Tim Hardaway Jr. (15), and Stu Douglass (10), each recorded double-digit points. This was the first time that four different players each scored in double figures since five different players scored at least 10 points at Ohio State last season (Feb. 27, 2010).
• Two players, Darius Morris (21) and Jordan Morgan (20), each scored at least 20 points. This marks the first time the Wolverines have accomplished this feat since DeShawn Sims (23) and Manny Harris (22) performed it against Minnesota last season (March 2, 2010).
• Darius Morris led the Wolverines with a career-high 21 points on 8-for-10 shooting (80 percent), including 2-for-2 from three-point range. He also dished out 10 assists to record his first career double-double. This was the first double-double for U-M this season. Morris added three free throws, two rebounds, and a steal in the win.
• Morris now lead the Wolverines with 14.7 points per game. Today marked his first 20-point game. He did not record more than 11 points in any game last season.
• Morris has a 25:7 assist-turnover ratio through three games this season. Morris has recorded 10+ assists in each of his last two games. He did not have a game with more than seven assists last season.
• Jordan Morgan recorded a career-high 20 points on 9-for-11 shooting (82 percent). He also led the Wolverines with eight rebounds, tying a career-high. Morgan added two free throws in the win.
• Michigan won the rebounding battle 45-23. The Wolverines have not been outrebounded by their opponent in any game this season.
• Michigan scored 42 of its 80 points from inside the paint. U-M limited the Runnin' Bulldogs to just 22 points in the paint.
• The Wolverines recorded 19 assists leading to 33 field goals, including eight three-pointers.
• Michigan only committed 14 turnovers. This marks the second straight game in which Michigan has registered more assists than turnovers.
• Michigan led 41-19 at halftime. The Wolverines have never trailed at halftime this season.
• The Wolverines wore their Maize jerseys for the first time this season. Under John Beilein, the Wolverines are now 13-18 when wearing Maize.
• For the third straight game, Michigan went with the starting lineup of Darius Morris, Zack Novak, Tim Hardaway Jr., Evan Smotrycz, and Jordan Morgan.
• Sunday's game marked the second of two regional games U-M hosted as part of the Legends Classic. Michigan will head to Atlantic City, N.J. to face Syracuse (#10 AP/#11 USA Today) in the first of two Championship Round games Friday night (Nov. 26).
