Peale also achieved an NCAA provisional mark in the 3,000-meter run last weekend at the Meyo Invitational (Saturday, Feb. 6), finishing in 9:28.83.
Peale's time was a personal record, bettering her previous effort by more than 25 seconds. Her previous best came at last year's Big Ten Championships, when she finished in 16:55.14.
The Wolverines continue split-squad action tomorrow (Saturday, Feb. 13) with five throwers in action at the Tyson Invitational. The rest of the team will continue the GVSU Big Meet, beginning at 10 a.m.
