• Michigan handed Ferris State its first loss of the season tonight and remains perfect at home this year (5-0-0), winning each game by two goals or more.
• Lindsay Sparks tallied two assists, earning his third consecutive multiple-point game (2g, 4a) ... With the effort tonight, Sparks extended his current career-high point streak to five games (3g, 5a).
• Sparks leads the team with 11 points (5g, 6a) in seven games this season.
• Phil Di Giuseppe opened the scoring at the 4:20 mark of the second period and registered an empty-net goal to record the second multiple-goal game of his career. He is now tied with Lindsay Sparks for the team lead with five goals.
