Series Notes
Michigan falls to 69-24-3 all-time against Miami. U-M is 22-18-2 in Oxford and 1-3-1 at Steve Cady Arena.
Team Notables
Tonight's lost ended a five-game winning streak against ranked teams and dropped U-M's record to 8-5-2 against ranked foes this season.
Michigan lost for the first time this season when scoring the first goal of the game (13-1-3) and when leading after two periods (15-1-3).
Michigan has lost back-to-back games for the first time since late fall when it lost at Minnesota (Nov. 28) and at Ohio State (Dec. 3). It has not lost three straight games since February 2010.
Player Notables
A.J. Treais scored his seventh and eighth goals of the season for his first career two-goal game. As a result, the sophomore also established single-season highs for goals (8) and points (15). He had 7-6-13 totals as a rookie.
