N O T E S

• Today marks the first time U-M has had participants in the heptathlon in 2011.

• Erin Busbee's clearance of 1.59 meters (5-2 1/2) in the high jump was a personal best. It was the first time she cleared five feet since joining the Wolverines.

• Tofunmi Akeredolu is participating in the heptathlon for the first time since the 2009 outdoor season. She missed the entire 2010 season due to injury.

• There are 11 participants in the heptathlon.

• Tomorrow's heptathlon events are the long jump, javelin and 800-meter run.

• U-M will also participate in the pole vault, 100-meter dash, 3,000-meter steeplechase, 400-meter dash, 1,500-meter run, 200-meter dash, 800-meter run and the 5,000-meter run tomorrow.
