The Wolverines fall to 14-11-0 in the all-time series against Boston University. Michigan is 0-3 all-time at Agganis Arena and 2-4 in road games against BU. The Wolverines fell to 1-2 on the road overall this season.
Michigan fell to 1-2 against ranked competition this season.
Sophomore forward Alex Kile has been Michigan's most consistent performer over the first five games, recording points in each of U-M's contests (3G, 4A). Kile had six points (4G, 2A) in all of 2013-14.
Freshman defenseman Zach Werenski had a goal and an assist for his second consecutive multiple-point output. Werenski has points in four of Michigan's first five games and six points overall (2G, 4A),
Freshman forward Dylan Larkin notched two assists on the night and had six points on the weekend (G, 5A).
The Wolverines finished 2-for-5 on the power play and 2-for-2 on the penalty kill. Michigan finished 3-for-6 on the power play in two games this weekend after starting the season 0-for-9 on the man-advantage. The Wolverines have not allowed a power-play goal in three straight games (7-for-7).
Sophomore goaltender Zach Nagelvoort made 31 saves on the night, including 15 saves in the first period, as BU outshot Michigan, 15-12, in the opening frame.
