For the sixth straight game, Michigan used the starting lineup of Cyesha Goree, Nicole Elmblad, Madison Ristovski, Shannon Smith and Siera Thompson.
Michigan held Notre Dame to its second-lowest point total of the season, 70 points. The Irish entered the game averaging 91.0 points per game.
Terra Stapleton scored the first points of her career, hitting a jumper in the lane in the closing seconds of the game.
With her fifth double-double of the season, Cyesha Goree tallied her 18th career double-double. She is now alone in eighth place on the all-time list at Michigan.
