What attracted you to the University of Michigan?
"The University of Michigan is recognized nationally in both academics and athletics. When I arrived in Ann Arbor and stepped on campus I knew Michigan was a special place, and this was exactly what I was looking for. Michigan has the facilities and people to provide me with the opportunity to grow and flourish both athletically and academically."
What are your thoughts about continuing to help Michigan build its women's lacrosse program?
"I am so honored and excited to be a part of Michigan's Women's Lacrosse program. Coach Jennifer Ulehla has a blueprint, from her past experiences, on how to successfully build a start-up program, and I am confident that our lacrosse program will succeed because of our strong coaching staff, our talented players, and the support from the University. I am really looking forward to being a part of Team Three and contributing to the growth of the program into a Big Ten and national contender."
What do you like about Michigan/Ann Arbor from what you've seen so far?
"I love that the town and campus are intertwined as one. There seems to be so many different things going on at all times and plenty of things to do. The University and community seem to come together as one and show a great deal of support for one another. You not only feel like you are on a college campus, but you also feel as though you are a part of the community."
What is your favorite lacrosse moment of all-time?
"Scoring the winning goal in overtime in the semifinal game of counties, against a team that had already beaten us twice in the regular season, and also going on to win the County championship against a team who had beaten us twice already in the regular season as well."
How did you first get involved in lacrosse?
"I was getting bored with playing soccer and wanted something else to do. Lacrosse was a fairly new sport to Berks County, and my older sister's team did not have enough players, so they asked me to come along to one of their games to play. I instantly fell in love with the game and have played ever since."
Do you have any talents or hobbies that you're willing to share? If so, please explain.
"I enjoy painting and drawing, and my newest hobby is building things, and then painting them."
Who is your role model, and why?
"Both my mom and dad are my role models. I say that because they are both extremely hard working people, and they have worked for and earned everything that they have accomplished. They are two of the most caring people I have ever met and they would do anything for my two sisters and I. I can only strive to be as hardworking and caring as they are."
What do you enjoy doing when you're not playing lacrosse?
"When I am not playing lacrosse, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy painting things and hiking."
