Postgame Notes: Michigan 96, Bryant 60

U-M now leads the all-time series with Bryant 2-0 after a 96-60 win tonight. Coincidentally the two times the teams have met were both on Dec. 23 (2010 and 2015).
The last time the Wolverines took on the Bulldogs they matched a program record with 16 three-pointers, and tonight U-M topped that, hitting 17 threes on 17-for-35 shooting from long range (48.6 percent). U-M has hit 10 or more triples in nine games this season, surpassing last season's total of seven games with 10 or more threes.
The Wolverines shot 58.7 percent (37-for-63) on the night -- 65.6 percent (21-for-32) in the first half and 51.6 percent (16-for-31) in the second half. U-M has shot 50 percent or better nine times this season.
Michigan's 57 points in the first half are the most the Wolverines have scored in any first half this season and their second most in any half (58 in second half vs. Charlotte, Nov. 26). This was the fourth time this season the Wolverines have had 50-plus points in a half.
The Wolverines assisted on 26 of their 37 made field goals (70.3 percent), including the first nine of the game. Tonight also marked the fifth game with 20 or more assists this season. U-M has combined for 55 assists in the last two games (29 vs. Youngstown State, Dec. 19). Caris LeVert (8) and Duncan Robinson (6) combined for 14 of U-M's 26 assists tonight. It tied Robinson's career high, which he posted twice while at Williams College.
The Wolverines converted 13 Bryant turnovers into 17 points while holding Bryant to six points off their eight turnovers. U-M has had 10 or fewer turnovers in six games this season.
The Wolverines put up 32 points off the bench, while Bryant scored just two. Aubrey Dawkins led U-M's bench effort with 10 points.
Ten different players scored tonight for Michigan, including five players with double-digit points -- Caris LeVert (19), Zak Irvin (16), Duncan Robinson (12), Derrick Walton Jr. (11) and Aubrey Dawkins (10). Michigan has had at least five players in double figures in each of the last four games. Irvin's 16 points are a season high.
Michigan outrebounded Bryant, 33-22, and grabbed nine offensive rebounds, which ties U-M's second highest total of the season. Mark Donnal had a season-high three offensive boards.
Duncan Robinson has hit three or more three-pointers in 10 games this season, including nine straight. He finished with four tonight (4-for-8). Overall, he is 47-for-79 (59.5 percent) this season. He scored 12 points tonight and has reached double-digit points in nine games this season.
